Hot Flashes?

Is this what it is I'm going through? The weather has been cooler but I have been so warm to the point that I'm sweating! Sometimes I'll wake up in the morning and it will feel as though I have been in a sauna all night! At first I thought that maybe I had the flu or a virus but it has lasted for a few weeks now. I'm not in any physical pain except for the occassional headache and my gums hurting every once in a while. I think back to that "All In The Family" episode when Edith Bunker was going through it and it sounds like a lot of what I'm going through.
